What does Ed-Break need to work?
Ed-Break needs a separate parent and child device and Apple ID’s. The parent and child need to be in the same Apple ‘Family Sharing’ group. The child needs to be under the age of 18. 
How do I setup Apple 'Family Sharing'?
On your iPhone or iPad
Go to Settings.
Tap your name.
Tap Family Sharing, then tap ‘Set Up Your Family’.
Follow the onscreen instructions to set up your family and invite your family members.
How do I invite a user to my Apple 'Family Sharing' group?
On your iPhone or iPad with iOS 16 or later
Go to Settings.
Tap ‘Family’.
Tap the Add Member button.
If your child doesn’t have an Apple ID, tap Create an Account for a Child. But if your child already has an Apple ID, tap Invite People. They can enter their Apple ID password on your device to accept the invitation.
Follow the onscreen instructions.
How do i create an Apple ID for my child?
On your iPhone or iPad with iOS 16 or later
Go to Settings.
Tap Family.
Tap the Add Member button.
Tap Create Child Account, then tap Continue.
Enter the child’s name and birth date. Make sure you enter the correct date of birth – you can’t change it later.
Follow the onscreen instructions to finish setting up the account. For your child’s Apple ID, you can use their email address, the suggested @icloud.com address or their Game Center nickname.
How do I setup Ed-Break?
First, download and install Ed-Break from the Appstore on your parent device.
Open Ed-Break.
Tap ‘Parent Device’.
Tap ‘Permit access to Screen Time’ – This is needed to allow Ed-Break permissions to interact with Apple Family controls on your device.
Tap ‘Continue’.
Tap ‘Allow’.
Tap ‘Done’.
Now let’s create a family in Ed-Break,
Tap ‘Create Family’.
Ok, so now we can add a child to the family,
Tap ‘Yes’.
Ok here we create a profile for your child,
Tap on the ‘Child name’ filed and enter a name or nickname for your child.
Select the school ‘Grade level’ of your child.
Select the desired ‘interruption frequency’, this will set how frequently questions are asked.
Select the ‘incorrect time blocker’, this will set the amount of time a child will be blocked if they don’t successfully complete a question set.
Now you select the subjects you want Ed-Break to ask question from for your child.
The parent device is now setup.
How do I setup a child device?
First, download and install Ed-Break from the Appstore or alternatively you can scan the QR code on the parents’ app during the child setup process.
Open Ed-Break.
Tap ‘Child’s Device’.
Tap ‘Permit access to Screen Time’ – This is needed to allow Ed-Break permissions to interact with Apple Family controls. This step also stops the child from being able to remove Ed-Break without your permission.
Tap ‘Continue’.
Tap ‘Allow with iCloud Sign-in’, now you will need to use the parents Apple ID and Password in this step,
Enter your Apple ID and Tap ‘Sign in’.
Enter your Password and Tap ‘Sign in’.
Tap ‘Done’.
Now let’s link the child device to the parent Ed-Break family,
On your parent device if you are sitting at the QR code Tap ‘Continue’.
Now tap ‘Scan QR’ on your child profile and scan the QR code show on the Child Device.
In this last step you are able to select the categories or specific App’s you want Ed-Break to interrupt.
Tap ‘Done’
Tap ‘Continue’
The Child device is now setup.
